BioI've enjoyed writing for as long as I can basically remember. In grade school I wrote alot of short stories that never got finished. In high school I wrote poems...lots and lots of poems...mostly bad. I had 3 poems published during that time and won 2 small time writing awards...of which I never did get the gift certificates. In the final years of high school I teamed up with Andrew Foster who now does Everyday Comics (www.everydaycomics.com or LJ user flamingwingnut) We started a comic company called Flaming Wingnut...it didn't really go anywhere. In college he decided to do his own thing and Flaming Wingnut Comics died. I started doing my own, albeit crude, art when I created Isola Del Ugly Comics who's greatest success was a one shot comic called "Bunny vs the Hot Water Heater." Now I work on Cooney Island through the week and Retro Ripoff Round-up on the weekends. I've retired the Isola Del Ugly name (it was too confusing a name anyways) and I'm really enjoying the great constructive environment that is Live Journal.
